Pure greed from our local MPs

Great article in the Brentford Chiswick Isleworth Times this week about Ann Keen still treating us all like mugs by claiming expenses she clearly does need and only does so for pure greed.Her response to the claims was the usual cut-paste reply I always get given when I dare to pose the question to her."Mrs Keen said: "I welcome the publication of all MPs' expenses and the need for transparency in public life."This is why I fully supported the Labour government's legislation which allows these figures to be accessible to the public and I have at all times operated within the rules of Parliament. "As usual,nothing whatsover about why she is claiming the extra cash or any explanation of what she does with it, and when did she ever not"fully support the Labour government" blah blah blah and vote against them?

I am still unclear as to how Ann Keen manages to claim more for stationery than most of her colleagues when she rarely replies to letters?

There are so many uncorrected text errors contained on Mrs Keen's Parliamentary website...that precise explanations and detail is unlikely to come your way!

Paul,I made some comments on another thread regarding this subject. My point was that since 2001 the MP for Twickenham, Vincent Cable, has only claimed £41 for this allowance. Are we to believe that as the Keen's have claimed over £130,000 that they do far more work than Mr. Cable? I think not. I believe that unlike the Keen's, Vince Cable has a concience and is not prepared to rip the tax payers off for something he doesn,t need.
