Swyncombe Avenue

So the restriction is now permanent to the complete surprise of nobody. The Swyncombe Avenue 'experiment' was the last straw for us, the only option to bid a very sad farewell to beloved Brentford. Now vindicated. We were Windmill Road, BTW: it's ruined.

Quite why all the factors have been ignored and how Swyncome Ave residents seem to get more say than any other residential streets for a designated main road that has no more a problem than far less able roads beggars belief given the problems its caused for other less accommodating highways in the vicinity. Off street parking, garages, deep set back front gardens, how many other heavier used local roads have that luxury?

Oh, and cycling figures decreased due to ‘seasonal factors’. No shit Sherlock. Idiots like Cllr Lambert and co should be made to cycle everywhere in all weathers, be banned from using any motorised transport and not be allowed deliveries of food, etc. Then they might understand what active travel really is.

Bonkers decision. I assume no councillors live on Windmill Road (a narrow road) which has seen increased traffic.
