FREE talk "Temples of Industry"  11.30 am Thurs 2nd Feb

AEC built a vast amount of London's Buses mainly Chassis and Engines at Southall including the Routemaster of which, the entire production fleet were built in the Borough of Ealing the bodies at Park Royal Vehicles. With a small number having Leyland engines instead of AEC ones.

Thanks for the notification of that interesting event.Whilst everyone will know that Firestones and Trico were once located on the Great West Road, Brentford... AEC was the BUSES AND LORRIES production company located at the top of Windmill Lane / near the Iron Bridge on the Southall/ Hanwell border.
