Sarah  i must ask why you felt it neccessary to bring my name into this?I was also shameful of the fact that Debbie went quiet too - what is your next project Debbie? what is this ment to mean sarah?this was my separate post if you never read it you can now simon i think your wonderfull as i have told you before and dont let no narrow minded( friendless)person tell you other wise has this so called person every got of her backside and helped anyone or anything before I THINK NOT ! i wonder if any one or thing that she has every cared for  has been sick before infact i think shes a fake!!As some of you know might know im a mother of 3 sick children one i nearly lost this year to astmah and phemonia and that people like myself and simon are greatfull to the hospitals for looking after our children when they have been sick.  raising the money is so important for other children to benifit from our hard efforts while there in hospital it would be very boring without tv combis video games and toys i should know i have spent enough time in and out of the hospital   I urge Annabell stone to take part in the next fund raiser or maybe come and visit a premature baby that might not survive or a child with an illness not knowing how long they might have left to live to see for herself how important our efforts are. How dare she say those horrid things about you simon im so angry and upset. If annabell stone feels that way why read anything about your hard efforts and should keep her petty minded views to herselfTrue brentford people are kind hearted and dont think like that this site does not need friends like her. My daughter was at the hospital today and tom for vommiting and might have to be put out and have the camera down the phemonia has gone fingers crossed had an xray today that was clear. she still very weezy though and on the inhalers every day.simon you keep up the good work i will back anything you do.The reason not that i have to explain myself to anyone but i will on this occassion is that i was at the hospital yesterday with my sick child as im a mother of three sick children we dont all have time like some to reply post asap but better late than never i say i hope this has answered your question sarahDebbie

No, Simon you don't agree with what Jim is saying - but you are being made to feel like you ought to!This is such a crass response to your postings which on an open forum are there if a person chooses to read them or not.  I read some postings, some I don't bother with and others some I reply to depending on time and or state of mind.  I am happy to read your postings if somebody takes a dislike to them - then let them post a few themselves!  That would soon iron out Jim’s problem with the 'front page'.  On the other hand if the front page is sooo significant then why not have a shortened front page of around 5 subjects?  On the other hand to balance it out, the front page might show 30 listings?I also suggest that the wind up merchants have dropped away from the po-litical main stirrings to a more subtle form and that is why I stopped posting for a bit to let THEM calm down and remove me from being the next in line for the banter.Instead your name is coming to the fore and the comments about YOU calming down are quite funny/outrageous.  I was also shameful of the fact that Debbie went quiet too - what is your next project Debbie?Whilst I am about it - think about the subject of, say, Ann Keen - it is alright to post anti Keen threads and dominate the line of thinking with her - and as there is no reasonable answer to the points being raised, it becomes a bit tedious.  On the other hand you are willing to talk with the ongoing 'new subject' of 'Who's hogging the headlines' so it keeps the porridge being stirred - as somebody might say.

Could I make a suggestion? We have to bear in mind that this is a commercial website..the Forum department of which we should all be very grateful for. We need to respect it!It may well be that the warfare and beefy dialogue that has taken place over the past two weeks have attracted record viewing figures..and record breaking levels of messages.Maybe the moderators are excited at such activity..and are wondering what bone could be next thrown at the howling crowds..to keep their arguementative appetites satisfied! and to bring in the crowds again.Maybe..that could be the Brentford speciality..a lively happening during the daytime that keeps working people away from their workplace chores! The front page of the Forum lists 20 Topics. When clicking onto the page..visitors generally would like to see..would they not...a range of various issues and subjects...some of which they would wish to inspect. They don't want to see repeated topics dominating the front page.A wide subject range potential readers would surely prefer.I believe that in recent weeks the front page has been dominated by too many similar TOPICS. New messages on a general subject could so easily be inserted onto an existing Topic thread.    I have been a culprit in the past..and have endeavoured to stop launching new topics when a thread already exists.I think that Simon could keep harmony..and still be active and successful and certainly supported by us all..if he keep his Charity Activities to say two TOPICS per page..instead of four or more.Of course.. Simon will have been bruised during the past two weeks..by the nature of some of the criticism...but each and everyone needs to take one-step back..and ask themselves how they can save the Site!Maybe we could all have a good verbal punch-up on this Forum every day..but that wouldn't help the work-place. And we need workplaces to produce the dosh.

I would like to come back on some comments.Firstly I don't do this for my Ego, I do it to help Children who are ill and yes I am proud of what I have done especially jumping 12,000ft out of a plane.I agree Brentford people are nice there are always the odd nasty person in any area but I have had alot of Support from Brentford. As to being a attention seeker-Thats funny as the only things I have posted on here is to ask help to raise money for sick children anyone would think i was asking for the money for myself what is wrong with coming on the forums to ask for sponsors I mean if it raises more cash and benefits sick children??Me being a bully Annabelle yes I agree I got angry with your comments but lets not forget you bullied me first you have also bullied Sarah and Phil to name a few when the don't agree with you so kettle and Black springs to mind.I have not bullied anyone o here apart from my postings about the charity side I have only posted on here regd my daughter as there are many readers on here who are interested how she is.The only other posting is about the cat as I was trying to find another one.So you tell me who and how I have bullied people?Everyone has there opinion of other and thats fair enough but Annabell's comments were over he top and I have not done nothing wrong top her.The whole idea of a Discussion forum is so people can talk i have not broke any of the Terms and conditions on this site.I agree if you don't like me and don't want to read what I write then don't go on to my threads.See I don't like politics and most of it I cant understand thats why i don't go on any threads I know doesn't involve what I am in to.I do however feel that all Annabell's comments is to try to get me off the forum I mean they have got rid of one main poster on here now they want me off so as they stated in a posting last week they can have there forum back..It does not say in the Terms and conditions you can only use this forum if you support a certain political party! If I can raise as much money as possible by asking the Good people on these forums to sponsor me I will as its those sick children I think about at the end of the day and with the great donations I have received this year from people on these forums have been great and it shows they feel the same as me, also whats wrong with coming on here saying thank you to those who have supported me this year its called being polite!Thank you for all those who have stuck up for me on this thread I appreciate it.SimonPS Shivon is doing great she is started to eat a little now but still has the drip up her nose to have overnight feeds. Her hair is getting thicker and she is t school so all is good thanks.

KeithSomebody with a high public profile will inevitably attract some criticism, that is very true.  However in this instance it is the nature of the criticism which astounds me.  What has this guy done?  He has taken part in a sponsored parachute jump to raise money for sick children at Great Ormond Street Hospital.  What kind of person is upset by a thing like that? His most outspoken critic (yet another new contributor - there were at least five last week - who is "new to the area" and thus apparently not on the electoral register) attacks him for not being employed, without the benefit of any knowledge as to the circumstances.  Certain people obsess similarly about my own work arrangements.  Surely the pattern is clear? The attacks on Simon result from the publicity which he has recently achieved as a result of his fine charity work.  Normal people would view this publicity as richly deserved, but there are a few in my community who dislike the thought of anybody receiving public recognition who are outside of their own sphere of control.  These sad people, their bitterness and their vitriol we have learned to put up with over the years, but to Simon it is to some extent a new experience.Because he is such a self-evidently decent guy they have opted to hide behind pseudonyms in an effort to avoid the backlash which even they can see would otherwise result from their completely unreasonable behaviour.  Nevertheless they obviously cannot contain themselves, hence the outpourings of unrelenting rancourous hatred which we have seen recently on this forum.
