SNP Money

How can money just disappear? I really don't understand - anybody got an explanation? Thanks.

Unfortunately, the whole system is fallible and Govt and Local Govt and state institutions are at the core of it.  So embedded now that many do not even know anything is wrong.Transparency and the endless hoops to jump through merely act as a diversion and smokescreen to give the impression to the layman that all is safe and well.But it's not.It's so marbled into our culture that it will be near impossible to eradicate. Especially when so many in positions that could do something to reign in suchinstitutional corruption are in such total denial.

I don't need the 'doh'. I was asking specifically about the SNP. Where could the money have gone (presuming it IS missing)? Surely transactions are visible or at least easily traceable.

D’oh. Because they all know each h other. Do you really think that ‘taking services back in-house’ means they find a new provider or recruit dozens of new staff? No. They just rebrand and use the same people.There’s no monopoly on corruption. It’s not noticed because the people policing it are usually benefitting.

Thanks for that but I don't understand where the money goes, how it's done and why it isn't noticed  sooner. I can only surmise that somebody has snaffled it, but how?!

The same way that money regularly disappears from local authorities. Try looking up Tower Hamlets and Lutfur Rahman if you want a prime example. A man barred from public office for corruption yet now mayor of that borough again.If you think elected members are beyond reproach, well....
