The answer, Anne, would be any group except those currently in office. This group assume they will never be unseated and so have no incentive to listen to local needs, but instead impose policies based on dogma and party policy often against the clear and strong opposition of the electorate - we've seen countless examples raised in this forum. In our ward, the Labour party received about half of the votes cast on a 36% turnout - this is hardy a convincing mandate. Whilst I'm not questioning the result, it's clear that most eligible voters did not vote for Lambert and Parizotto. We need fresh crop of councilors who are genuinely accountable to all Brentford residents, not this tired old group who, based on Lamberts postings, are still fighting some 1970s style class war where they see all the middle class as the enemy.
