I did not realise that new diesel cars had a second tank for ad blue. I only found out because I saw a ad blue pump in a garage. Has anyone experience of a car with ad blue? How much does it cost etc?

AdBlue is a fluid which is automatically sprayed into a car’s exhaust system to reduce the nitrous oxide emissions of diesel engines. AdBlue is made of a mixture of urea and deionised water. It costs virtually nothing, under £1.00 per litre.10 litres should last 6 to 8 thousand miles. many cars have AdBlue tanks large enough to only need filling once per year.
