There is a travellers encampment on Brent Lea AND ...

this afternoon, they decided to have a wild bonfire under a delightful tree.One could smell the fire 100s of yards away.The Fire Brigade had been calledand their exstinguishers caused alarge smoke storm. I had to move out of the Park fast.Hounslow Council have acted fast. Their enforcement Unit having issued a NOTICE OF INTENT.Who will pay for the Fire Service?

Locals use the large grass areas to walk their dogs etc and they need it to be comfortable to walk on ... not covered in ruts caused by heavy vehicles.Hounslow Council are aware and have placed a notice loosely on the Park Gate.The quality of their transport suggests that they are all well heeled!

and yesterday and today I noticed kids riding round on motorised push bikes.

They are also on Chiswick back Common with the youngsters running donuts in their cars tearing up the grass and moving around the common as the piles of nappies and other detritus builds up.
