Brentford Festival - Sunday 3rd September

I thought that this would be a good place to extend my apologies to all those that joined the festival newsletter system but heard nothing back.  Also to all those that read the Diary of an Event Manager who have not seen any updates.I have had a fantastically busy year of planning (not just this event) and of course the event is about to happen. We have an astounding 75 stalls in addition to 10 catering units, the petting farm and of course the popular dog show.   CAMRA beer arrives Friday so should be nicely chilled by Sunday - we have moved the position this year to the mirror room (more space).  Come and spend the day, particularly come and see our youngest act (The Champs) performing on the stage.  They are a primary school band and are soooooooo excited.  This will be followed by a flamenco demonstration and later on Morris dancing - it is all going to be happening at The Brentford Festival noon to 6pm

Was a very good event. Lackingthe small Classic Car show and bus rally as it was in my opinion,  something that gave the event a broader reach and more eclectic feel. And nice if the rather down at heel looking Blondin Park could be tidied and made a little safer to walk in, a lot of less agile people stumbling in the long and tufted grass and unkempt hedges hiding so much more going on.
