Yellow Xpress Chinese Restaurant

...opened in the old Isleworth Odeon on the London Rd (next to the college) recently.  It is a help yourself buffet, in informal cafe style surroundings, with a good choice of food & helpful staff.  (I think it's £5.90 all day before 5.30pm then £8.90 for the evening.  They add a few extra dishes in the evening such as crispy duck & pancakes).  It's also a great place to take children & they are half price.We've been several times now & always enjoyed it.

The Yellow Express in Isleworth is the sister of the one in Hounslow. Good food and great value. The one in Hounslow is a favourite with the local constabulary.

Whilst on the subject of restaurants.. I can highly recommend the Indian (napalese Tandori) on Boston manor Road. It was called the Royal Tandori, but is now called Paras. i have never had a bad meal there and ive been eating there for many years. They deliver to Ferry Quays now too which is great. The service is A1 and even the  Delivery guy is always very polite and friendly. I can highly recommend the Chicken Korma!

Nice to hear of a restaurant being praised for a change.  One of my daughters has a love affair with the Happiness Garden Chinese Restaurant in Boston Manor which has an all you can eat menu at £14.98 pp.  I was dragged there kicking and screaming on Sunday last along with both my daughters and my grandchildren aged 3 and 6.  The grandchildren eat nothing at all (they were not bad judges) my daughter who loves the place ordered the equivalent of 8 starter dishes along with a portion of duck which was about as succulent as a brick.  Everything I tried was like eating a sugar cube apart from the Bang Bang Chicken which was covered in a truly disgusting looking and tasting sauce.  We had a bottle of fizzy water between us and the children had a lemonade and a coke.  The bill was £78 therefore they had even charged full price for the children.  Needless to say I do not recommend this restaurant.

We ordered a delivery from there the other Sunday and I must admit it was superb.Far to much food though for us but excellent value for money.A meeting of the TW8 posters there would be a great idea.

How awful for them.  You don't realise just how many people around you have lost loved ones to cancer, my Grandfather for me, a long time ago now.On a brighter note, you previously mentioned something about organising a forum get together at some point, well, this would probably be a good location.

Not eaten there but the owner helped me raise a couple hundred pound for my Sponsor jump its a great place and run by a lovely man who lost his little girl to cancer a few years ago...
