Might be a good idea to post that information on the Acton W3 site Paul, as one or two people seem a bit worried. As a Barnet resident (ex Acton & Ealing as you know) I have posted my own experiences as I live much closer, and have been up to Welham Green/Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City today, with no problems. Only people in the immediate vacinity, Levesten Green/ Hemel-Hempsted, are more seriously affected.

Thanks for the links Paul.  That south westerly cloud was easy to see in the sky this afternoon. These pictures are looking northwards across Osterley Park.The cloud hardly moved. It apparently was lingering at about 9000 feet.By late afternoon the cloud was expansive..and moving towards Reading and Hampshire.In the gloom of dusk..the laden cloud could still be seen!Our thoughts and  sympathies must go to all those people and organisations affected.
