Kew Gardens Open Evenings

Just to let anyone interested know that Kew Gardens have their annual open evenings this weekend. Friday 16th & Saturday 17th  - they are open free (suggested donation £2) from late afternoon until 9pm. There are carol concerts from 6.30 till 7.30, and the gardens are lit up and look beautiful. Well worth a visit.Hope you go & enjoy it!Liz

Michael, thanks for that.If the old old ferry coped with horses..then there's a chance for me to get to the other side!

Agreed Jim.There was a ferry crossing during summer months at weekends at Isleworth which ran for about 3 years and ceased about 5 to 10 years ago.

Liz,Thanks for the tip about that event. Wouldn't it good if there was a more local crossing of the Thames ..at say Ferry Lane?
