I know Feltham isn't brentford but Single mums there need peoples help and support and asked me for help.The council in Hounslow are closing down a drop in center for single mums and there children and the parents and staff are trying to save it from closing.They have asked me to join a March in January from a pub in Hounslow to the Civic Center to stop the Closure and are asking if anyone wants to join the march to contact me.The drop in center is called Feltham Welfare Association Newpin its a great little center and my Sister and her little girl has been attending there for many years and if it closes it will mean Parents and the Children will loose a great place.Cheers

Went on the March This morning it was A great Turn out there were Mums, dads and Children who use the Centre fronted by the organiser My Sister Karen and her 5yr old daughter, Also on the March were members of IVYTAG, ICG, and Cllr Andrews.When we got to the Civic Centre Lyndsey Handed the LARGE petition to a Labour Councillor for FeLtham who Never replied to Calls from Neupin Parents or Attended the March but said they will Support it...I will keep you updated on this.

What kind of services does the centre offer?Help back into employment,literacy skills etc.,training?
