Well done to Theo

Really pleased to see Theo win the Syon and Brentford Lock BY - Election and let us all hope that it gives the local Labour Group a well deserved wake up callCongratulations also to Max Mosley who retained the seat for Labour in Brentford East by a pretty good margin and very interesting to see Reform come second beating the Conservatives in to third place

Hello Jeremy,All I would say he was the only ward Councillor who recognised the concerns of the Brentford Dock residents when LBH were wasting large amounts of Council tax money on an Article 4 direction when Curran and his cronies were in charge.

Well there were plenty of Labour Councillors from around the Borough helping out during the campaign. There were a couple of pertinent questions I would have liked to put to her and depending on the answers I could of got, could have persuaded me to vote for her. Some of the questions I asked her colleagues could not be answered by them because they were not well briefed or knew the area. It would have also been an introduction. I have had Ruth Cadbury,Steve Curran and Catherine Dunne come by and introduce themselves on bygone campaigns.

What's so 'funny' about the Labour candidate not showing up on your doorstep? Do you seriously think that Theo or any other candidate managed single-handedly to knock on every door in the ward and at a time when people were in? That doesn't need an answer as the answer is obviously 'No'.

I would add my Congratulations to Theo for his victory in Brentford Syon ward! Thoroughly deserved despite all the skulduggery and bitchiness by the Labour Party.Funny thing is the Labour candidate never showed up on my doorstep and relied on Councillors from outside our Ward to do the talking. I think Vanessa puts it very succintly in her post. So no Donkey this time and I’m sure he do much better than the previous Councillor. I know Theo is very popular here in Brentford Dock and the residents very obviously played their part in his win.

Delighted to see Theo won the seat, let's hope that the much quoted phrase 'lessons will be learned' gets home to the incumbent Labour party who behaved quite appallingly throughout the campaign. May 2026 beckons, learn some humility  and understand this borough is not some playground for those with over-inflated egos to flounce around, playing at being important. Most of all get it through some thick heads that residents are NOT the enemy.
