Everyman Cinema

Hi, how are people finding the Everyman cinema in Brentford? We’ve been members of the Chiswick cinema for a few years are am not really that impressed.

Superb bar. Great atmosphere even if not viewing a movie.Trailers are always 20-30 mins pre movie and staff will advise you when your film is about to start if you prefer to have another drink in the lounge.Food and drink, whether you like it or not is a factor of life in most cinema’s these days.For the bar alone this is good for Brentford.

Recommend the Ealing Picturehouse, which is a quick bus ride from Brentford (allowing for A4 roadblocks and the 65 being useless)Plenty of offers for cheaper tickets, particularly Mondays. And you aren’t subjected to other people eating their dinner while the film is showing.Perhaps the local restaurants might start showing the latest blockbusters to entertain diners?

not exactly comparable with the watermans cinema its replaced. might be fine for the rich people with loads of money coming into the area paying over the odds for brown boxes? however i used to take my daughter to the watermans and pay less for the both of us than one ticket in the new cinema. so not impressed...

Been a few times, far prefer Acton or Ealings now gone basement film house.Food in the auditorium is not so good, at least smelly food. But it's so expensive at times when we can go.

Agree re the advertisements and trailers which are also overly loud. I have only been to a few Silver Screen showings when I was treated very well (hot drink and cake or small popcorn included in price).

I agree about the food.I have never understood why some people associate watchng a film in a cinema with stuffing their faces,especially having a full meal.

Prefer Picture House in Ealing. No smelly food and no disruption.

A bit underwhelmed so far. 30 minutes of advertising and trailers before the actual film, accompanied by staff walking frequently in front of me to ask people what they wanted to eat and drink, plus serving the same is not what I expect at a cinema, nor is the smell of food whilst watching the film. And I had hoped for a reasonable volume and variety of art house and/or foreign language films but so far they seem to be scarcer than hens' teeth.

Everyman in Brentford is living up to expectations so far!  Friendly staff, great service, good and often imaginative choice of films and timings, and excellent flat-whites.  I enjoy going.  I saw a 1015 mid-week screening and was the only person there, which probably wasn't ideal from their perspective, but I loved it and was treated like an honoured guest!
