Brentford population

Does anyone know what the population of Brentford is/will be after the completion of the building works (if that should ever happen) and what percentage increase that would be? Also wouldn't it be nice if the developers were to somehow compensate for all the noise and disruption they caused us over the years.

When i started work for Royal Mail at Brentford just over 20 years ago, there were roughly 20,000 residential properties in Brentford and Isleworth. Today that figure is roughly 30,000.There is still houing being built and proposed projects at GSK and Homebase, plus a good few more.

Brentford Lock Syon Ward closer to 13,000 and thats without all the new builds being occupied. I heard a figure a while back mentioning a 30% increase in the population by the end of the decade.

Of course a lot of people who live in Brentford actually live in Syon and Brentford Lock ward, which is probably about another 10,000 - though some of those may see themselves as Isleworth.

The current population of the Brentford West and Brentford East Wards is 18,500 according to a google search.a number that could just about be cramed into the Gtech Stadium.In addition, the populous flat developments at Kew Bridge and on the Football Stadium estate, which may have a Brentford TW8 postcode now fall within the Chiswick Electoral Area and they probably add 2000 to that 18,500 figure.So in response to your question another 10% must be in the pipeline.
