They do exist as do several other very good local organisations that circumvent politics but work hard for the local community, business or resident, but following a chat with one of those who volunteer, whilst plenty join up and support, very , very few come forward and get hands on involved in any capacity and too much gets left to the few who do tirelessly muddle on.Sadly it's common in all manner of community things from small clubs and groups through to larger entities. Is it age, time , work and children demands most likely or is it the expectation of other people doing it all?
