having a designated graffiti site is a good idea, where ever you have a blank space it is more than likely to soon become covered in graffiti. But the resolution lays in educating from a young age that graffiti done without permission is a criminal offence ,and that there is more ways to create a good graffiti style artistic piece without damaging property that belongs to others, for example creating a work of art on board or canvas. If parents along with schools educate their children properly there would be far less of a problem with this.

I actually agree and think this is a good idea.  But when all is said and done, the corner of Linkfield Road is not a designated graffiti art site, nor an appropriate one.

And you seriously imagine that a large expanse of blank wall would not be a temptation to local graffiti artists? Why not have dedicated garffiti art sites and be a bit more pragmatic about things?

If you look a bit closer you can see other unassociated graffiti appearing. Doing something like this just encourages the inconsiderate people with no regard for others to carry on with their behaviour. I wonder if Frank consulted with his neighbours to see if they had any objections before he went ahead with this. My guess is he didn't.
