Lara returns to Brentford - for one night only

My great friend and former Brentford West councillor, Lara Parizotto, will be joining me in Brentford this evening to campaign for the Green party. Like me, she has seen the light, and is a member of the Green Party in Lewisham.She cared greatly about Brentford and was an outstanding councillor and friend, but like me was chased out of the Labour Party for having a mind of her own!

The once respected (although rarely voted for) Green bottle is well and truly broken since the election of its lunatic leader who doesn’t even have a seat in parliament. Not that it would matter if he did because nobody takes him seriously.

Lambert clearly isn’t fit to stand for another four years on the council if his latest blog is anything to go by. Health issues should be his concern now, instead of prancing about Brentford as a Tory, sorry, ‘Green’ candidate. I wonder if he ever apologised to his new best mates for calling them Tories at the Watermans protest two years ago.Lambert is so far past his sell by date he should retire gracefully, even if that’s not his style. As someone else put it, he’s old wine in a new bottle.

A cynic might say that if you truly had a mind of your own,you and her for that matter, might stand as independents.That it took for both of you to receive the Spanish archer before you saw 'the light' and joined the Greens makes me question how bright that light really is.
