When you make your decision who to vote for just cast your mind back on Labours Record need I say more

'not listened to residents of Brentford Dock' - could it be you are referring to access to the riverside to the rest of Brentford residents, something Brentford Dock put their name to by way of a legal document?

Yes, I do know about the Albany Parade shops and don't understand the hold up. Not understanding something is not the same as not knowing about it.When somebody ends such a message with 'have a nice day' they generally don't mean it. Have a nice day yourself.

I was out on the stump with the independents in SBL and I was pleasantly surprised by the level of awareness there is of what they are doing, and of their campaign.  It's going to be a very uphill struggle for Labour locally to overcome the unpopularity of the government at national level, and one is tempted to feel a little sorry for them.  However when you join a big party and accept all the organisational advantages that that brings, being a hostage to the fortunes of the national party I'm afraid is the down side of the deal.Let's hope something emerges tomorrow from amid the fog which can finally clear out the rot for once and for all.

We just cast our votes for the independents in Syon Ward. It will make me smile if we rid the Borough of the arrogance and entitlement of these self serving incumbents in power for far too long.What have Labour done in the last 12 years? 1. they have overdeveloped Brentford Town centre and not listened to residents in Brentford Dock. 2.They have increased waiting lists for social services, 3. reduced funding to several local charities,4 not fixed the roads one bit better in the last 2 years. The Borough is a disgrace with rubbish thrown around everywhere. 5. Not reduced anti social behaviour where I live and just put any tenants in place without any thought to the locals. 6. Absolutely snarled the Town centre up with their ill thought out cycle lanes and traffic calming.Hopefully change is coming and at least it will give a chance to see if things can be improved locally.

Well Anne, there has been no leaflet delivered, no one has called as there is always someone indoors. As for being confused, you live in Brentford you should know how badly the council have treated Albany Parade shop holders and there appalling treatment of said shop holders, have a good day.

I actually agree or at least am confused re the shops on the High Street (the 'Albany Parade' ones, that is).I think you must have been out when people called - did you at least get leaflets through the door?

Thank Labour for making Hounslow Borough a Flytippers paradise. A free for all where fly tipping isn’t prosecuted. A borough full of potholes and constant litter where recycling teams can’t even transfer recyclables to their trucks without dropping it and leaving it on the streets. Thank Labour for all the unused cycle lanes and unwanted LTNs.

Also thank Labour for councillor claiming all their money and not attend a single meeting, choosing others to stand even when they have been exposed in national press for various acts that should have disqualified them from standing again.I will be voting but wonder why as my area, Brentford East, has not seen a single representative of any party. One last mention Anne, thank Labour for the brilliant handling of Albany Parade shop holders and the empty shops on the High St.

Thank Labour for our lovely parks, the leisure centres and libraries, the Older People's Festival and the quick removal of fly-tipping when reported.
