HAMZA E.T.C.

  It was nice to see eventually British justice managed to get things right for a change...life or deportation would have been a better punishment though. And remember it took the U.S.A to request the deportation of Hamza for us to have the nerve to get him into court. But one question I would like to ask is considering all the outcry throughout Europe and the Middle East concerning "That Cartoon". There seems to have been no demonstrations in the U.S.A. Have I somehow missed any reports ? Was there any demos in New York ? The burning of the Danish national flag in Los Angeles ?

DEPORTED !!! What use is he to this country ? Send him to the U.S.A where they have applied to have him extradited. In fact if it wasnt for the yanks he would not have been brought to court here. We were just too scared. But it is nice to see that "Blindy Blunkett" is now saying that he warned the C.P.S and police of Hamzas threat whilst Home Secretary...and they did nothing. Please correct me but as Home Secretary if you feel there is a threat to national security E.T.C you have the ultimate power. You can act independently reguardless of the C.P.S or police.

Isn't Hamza wanted in Egypt for murder charges. That's why he sought asylum in this country, I believe.If this is the case should he be allowed to stay in this country after he has served his time or should he be deported?

Well said Mark & Ann!As you stated ''this would not have been allowed in America''Once again the PC brigade have let the country down by not doing anything in case we incite ''Racial Hatred''What a lot of old BO**OCKS!!Did we see mass demonstrations on London streets calling for those people to face death when the likes of Monty Python brought out the ''Life of Brian?''Of course we never it's just the same old people claiming that they are being victimised & the British Government are too scared to do anything.As far as I'm concerned Hamza & anyone who is connected to him & preaches this crap should be either jailed or sent back to wherever they may choose & see how they get on there without their handouts!

I could not agree more Ann. I am quite sure the U.S.A would not stand for all his rubbish. And more to the point all his followers. Would I be right in assuming that the demonstrations seen in London over the past week were attended by over 1,000 people ? Hardly a minority I would suggest. If that was a bunch of football supporters chanting offensive slogans in the street how long do you think the police would stand by allowing it to carry on ? I would also like to know how come all the so called moderate muslims at the Finsbury Park mosque did not know about the "Stash" that was found by the police ? Looking from the outside it seems the police did not want to rock the ethnic boat or did not understand their job. As far as I am concerned the police should have the right to access any mosque or religious building in this country if they feel there is a risk to public safety. If that was the case in July 2005 maybe 7/7 could have been averted.

Mark,Check out 'Burning embassies' on the Ealing forum...there's quite a heated discussion there - forgive the pun.I am waiting for the day they ship 'Capn. Hook' to the States...they won't be so lenient with him!I agree we British are always too quiet- we cross the street to avoid a mob of protesters, and let them get on with it.  We have been brought up to expect freedom of speech, but now this P.C. thingy has gone too far.The other night on t.v. watching that policeman moving on a van driver who wanted to give a piece of his mind to those muslims - now that made me see red!!!!

The silence is deafening !!! It seems nobody has a view on the subject, or they agree but dont want to speak out. I feel if it is the later thats what got us into the situation we find ourselves in now. Mind you its nice to know David Blunkett is now trying to get any blood he might have on hes hands by saying he warned the C.P.S and the police of a serious threat whilst Home Secretary. Could anyone enlighten me of the full powers of the Home Secretary ?...As I understand it if he thought it was a big enough threat the C.P.S and police would be irrelevent.
