JimI am not commenting on this no longer as its silly as people are just making a big thing out of nothing and ive a sick daughter here to think about then coming on here to see people not letting it go i know ive upset u i said sorry and asked for it to be removed what more do u want from me? if you stopped putting replys on this thread it will dissapear and we can move on..i think we have all been upset about this long enough ive upset you and others and coments posted on this thread saying ive pset peope have upset me PLEASE can we just forget it now i wont be putting anymore of these on...??

Simon:Just to let you know that my young cleaning lady has been at my home today...and she is certainly 21st century.She saw me at this keyboard...with the Brentford Forum front page open...and I clicked on to your opening message to listen out for her re-action.She screamed ..(and she hardly ever swears)..."that's f*****g disgusting.I know that you have apologised..I just wanted you to realise that I'm not the only complainant.  We should all be seeking to raise the Forum's standards and academic interests a little bit...in my view anyway.

Jean I am sorry it upset you ive had a few problems myself..My best mates gran died last week and its the funeral today and Shivon was unwell again the other week i thought the joke was funny and it wasnt that serious.Jean ive apologised and appologised over this so manytimes and asked the editor to remove it but they havent.I did not post it to upset any of you as i think alot of each and 1 of you and if i knew this would go this far i would never placed it on here..I am sorry for upsetting you i really am but the more people post on this thread then the thread wont dissapear.Its no point in people posting telling me i was wrong as i get the picture know but cant do anything about.My suggestion is to make no more postings on this thread so the more new threads that appear this one will dissapear.simon

JimI have appologised manytime for this but some people just wont let it go.Ive commited no crime here its just a picture of an ugly face...And no ive not been circulating it around the hospital and i feel upset and mad you would think that.I find your posting very upsetting and cant understand why you wont let it go and still putting me down for it.Ive admitted i should of thought about it before placing it on here but i thought it might make some laugh i now know i was wrong..Whats wrong with briniging some humour onto the forum?As to people seing my posting and leaving TW8 i think thats going a bit to far so if someone decides to cancel there account on here thats my faut??All this just for a silly little picture they show worse on TV.

Simon you know what I think about you,  I admire all the things  that you do.I have had aparticularly bad time recently  due to the murder of a neighbour I  dared to look at your "joke"  and it gave me a nasty shock. Lets stick with the charity work .    Love Jean

Victor.Thank you for your support!Yes I do seem to be a bit upset by one or two matters..but in particular really disappointed by a seeming failure to get the Brentford Forum activity up a peg or two.I found that dreadful initial image just tipping the balance for me...and I just threw my pen down with exasperation.  Together with certain naff postings...and the drivel from certain other quarters too..I wondered whether one should just quit.Showing children such trash really is upsetting too. Are those sorts of DVDs and images circulated in Children's Hospital wards?Whilst Simon has worries of his own..perhaps so do WE!! When we log into this website we are often looking for quality light relief..or a stimulating topic..not drivel,and naff items or the like...which come from certain directions.I'm making a stand in this issue because I feel there is no seeming let-up...indeed there is encouragement to carry on!! In my view if the present continues unabated the Forum will suffer further.  Visitors to this Forum will just close the door again and not bother to return for a good while. The forum won't be essential reading. Visitors willturn away in disappointment...and they already do already!How can we encourage local Councillors and officials in Brentford to participate..if the level of debate and discussion sinks to low.    Having a good go aren't I?"This is the 21st century mate".."I've done nothing wrong"Editors haven't deleted it...so it must be alright. I say respect the Forum..and its users. Why doesn't Simon have his own Topic..."Simon's blog"...then he can do and say what he likes...he can list all his different topics separately...without dominating the front page sometimes.Enough said for tonight!  Vote for NO TRASH OR DRIVEL!He's a good bloke. Thanks Justin but i dont understand why colin wants me banned from this site just for posting a silly joke up its not racial or offensive in anyway so ive broken no rules to this forum i was just trying to pass on some humour and i for 1 who knows what misery is at present with my ill daughter that laughter is everything.

JimThe last thing I wanted to do was to upset or fall out with anyone over this Silly Joke...My kids saw it weeks ago and it didnt cause them any problems I think kids see and hear about much worse things than a Horribl picture of me flashin up on the Screen..ha haAs I said mate it was sent to me as a joke and everyone i have sent it to or seen it think its Funny but Yes you are correct there will be people who wont like it and Ishould of Thought of that before i posted it and as i said i appologise to you and Ann and anyone else ive upset over this.I have like i said asked the editore to remove it ASAP.I just hope no one on Here will fall out with me over this as I regard you all as Friends of Mine..

I've only added that second message Simon..as I wanted to explain my point on view on the matter..especially if there was a suggestion that us silver surfers are not "with it" and are living too much with past values.Be assured that there will be others who will support you on this issue...and will think that I should shut up..and not be so bossy.The Editor has not responded..so perhaps a debate on the matter could ensue..and you may well have more supporters on this matter than me!!  I don't wish to upset you too much..please recover. Forums are primarily for discussion and debate anyway.So perhaps we should just play the URL again..and see if its fit for relaying to us fragile souls!

I have emailed this to the Editor and all I can say is Again I am sorry for upsetting anyone as it wasn't my intentions.Dear Sir/madameI am emailing you to ask you to remove 1 of my postings please.I placed a posting yesterday "Spot the Differences" it was a joke linksent to me and I thought it was funny so i posted it up on TW8 to sharebut several other members have told me they felt it wasn't funny.I did not mean to offend anyone and if i thought this joke would of done Iwould of never posted it.I can only apologise as I have done to the other posters i have offendedand ask you to remove the thread ASAP before it offend anyone else.I apologise from the bottom of my heart if i have upset anyone as I knowwhat it feels like to be upset with a sick child.Simon Anderson
