Foxtons to revalue your home !!!!!

Hounslow’s decision to appoint Foxtons to re-value all the boroughs residential property has to be utter madness. I can’t believe the residents are going to take this lying down. A commission only basis if the properties end up falling in to another band!!!!! They must be joking, with their track record of overvaluing as illustrated in the recent documentary is there any other possible outcome.This is the most idiotic idea they could have possibly come up with but it appears to be the same in Ealing.Quite appaling and very naughty indeed!

Foxtons are amongst the most money driven greedy shysters and upmarket spivs I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.There must have been several large lunches and a few holidays in the sun to get that appointment.

What a rude man you are David. I don't think too many people will share your own high estimation of your own cleverness.Shame you didn't pick up on the humorous intent of Diccon's original post. I thought the story was inspired. Like all good satire it was just about believable despite being preposterous. Put it next to a story about loans for peerages and the cast of dodgy characters we have learnt about over the last few weeks and it would be difficult to spot which was the most incredible.

A very nicely pitched April Fool's story. I certainly was taken in initially and was all set to draft up some angry e-mails. Unfortunately the last part about satellite photos being used is true apparently. I remember reading about it in the press some months ago.
