Legal Action against Thames Water
Dear Sir, The Mogden Residents Action Group has asked me to post the following information which may be of interest to residents interested in the Group Legal Action against Thames Water. Dear Residents Hugh James Solicitors intend to hold a final meeting in Twickenham for residents towards the end of May. The purpose of the meeting is for residents to ask any final questions regarding the compensation claim and for newcomers to register their interest in claiming against Thames Water. The High Court of Justice has set a cut off date of 2.6.2006 for those wishing to register their claim/s. Hugh James are not sure of the venue as it will depend on the numbers of residents expected to attend. The last meeting was held at Twickenham RFU. It would therefore be appreciated if you let us know if you would be interested in attending the meeting so that we can get some idea of the numbers expected. Although we are aware of the numbers who have joined the action to date - some of you may already be quite clear on the forthcoming procedures and will not deem it necessary to attend any further meeting. In any event if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. (email: mrag27@aol.com) Also, if you have already requested Registration Packs from Hugh James and have not received them yet - don't worry. In view of the response to the Action there is a backlog and Registration Packs are being despatched asap. Likewise if you have received your pack and have not yet returned your registration documentation, please do so as soon as possible.
