As a High Street Trader I find it hard to understand how come in the two and a half years that I have been on the Brentford High Street, not one of the many groups that seem to claim to represent the High Street traders has manage to inform me of any of the meetings held. This is very strange as I know that my name and the nature of my business is often mentioned, as I believe it was at the hustings on the 27th. Hopefully this may answear some of the questions raised. the posters that are in my shop window are anti cannabis posters produced on the 1920's and 30's by the Hurst newspaper group to spread lies and paranoia about a plant, so usefull it threatend the investments of some of Americas richest and most powerfull, the acts that these lies ushered in are directley responsible for the petro-chemical nightmare that we find ourselves living in today. This includes the illegal occupation of the oil fields of Iraq. more lately a group of shrinks have used these lies as a means of gaining kudos by gathering together some not very convincing reports that cannabis curses mental illness in the young, When in fact all these reports show is that people with mental health issues are more likely to use drugs and cannabis is likely to be one of the drugs used. So nothing new there then.I have read the five reports and they are not worth the paper they are printed on. This does not mean Cannabis is safe, just that the supposed proof that its not, is crap. put out by a group that nobody had ever heard of befor and a group that nobody ever would have heard of if they had said what I just said. One only has to look at the violence that surrounds alcohol to see that it is not the dope smoker thats mentaly ill but this nation of druken idiots.Just one last thing, it would seem that at least one councler felt I would not be on the High Street once its all been developed, don't bet on it! as I hope to have a bigger, better and much more in the face premesis by then, Yours Truly Phil Walsh Man.
