HM Magazine

Well done to those chaps (non gender specific term for everyone)who delivered the above publication to hundreds of addresses in the Isleworth area on Tuesday morning. You could not have done a better job of leaving this magazine half hanging out of so many people's letter boxes if you tried. I wonder what the council's policy is regarding this issue?

In the meantime it might be nice to use some of the space to start a stock take of the Boroughs services - I know you were all voted in with a number of promises of jobs that need to be done - but how about asking people what they value in the Borough and what they would like changed as the ideas will come from the people using the services - and this is an opportunity to review them all, well, IMHO, of course!

The whole subject of the HM magazine may well come under review now that there is likely to be a new administration in Hounslow.

Rebecca Holmes (former editor) as well as being a great advocate of seeing value created in the community was also very passionate about the mag being delivered well and worked actively  to ensure that it was effectively distributed with diligence and care (I was once contacted personally after I mentioned that our estate was not receiving it). Maybe the current editor is worth mailing with this issue in order to have it rectified?
