As far as the hoardings are concerned, efforts are being made to remove them. They are all illegal and the planning enforcement officer informed me a few weeks ago that work was under way to remove them. As with most legal processes it's a time-consuming business and has to be done by the book. I'll find out the latest and report back.

I don't think its so much the lights on buildings as the illuminated super signs on the vacant buildings.  I don't undertsand why they need to be on all night.  Its more a waste of electricity than anything else.

Congratulations Matt.  Can you do something about the lights on the buildings on the A4?  So far I have not got anywhere on this.  They are on all night and light up the entire area, I thought there was new legislation on light pollution?
