Public meeting Tuesday on local NHS funding

On Tuesday 9 May there is an open meeting to discuss 'Where Does NHS Money Go?' organised by the Patient & Public Involvement Forum for the West Middlesex University Hospital. Speakers will include John Foster Acting Chief Executive, Hounslow Primary Care Trustand Simon Marshall, Director of Finance, West Middlesex Hospital. Its at Montague Hall, Montague Road, Hounslow, 7 – 9 p.m.Could be an important chance to find out from the people in charge what plans ther are for cutbacks in local health services. (Unfortunately, I can't go but I hope others who are intrested will be able to).

Thank you Malcom, I would have liked to go to that meeting but I can't make it. Is there anyone that is planning to go? Is there some kind of record or results that are obtainable from the meeting?  Sorry i'm not quite sure how these things work.

Alas, I am working that night. Could someone please ask how much is spend on consultants,or 'thought leaders'as some of the more self important ones like to call themselves.

Unfortunatly I will be attending another meeting tomorrow evening but I would appreciate it if anyone who is going would post the main points discussed on here?

I'm not sure of the details of the meeting, Ina, but as the Forum is for the West Mid and the Director of West Mid Finance is one of the speakers, it would seem to be legitimate to raise the parking charge issue.
