Porn addicts in Brentford

According to Google people living in Brentford are 7th in a list of towns/cities, worldwide, that have the most number of hits onto porn sites. Top city is Birmingham.http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/west_midlands/4768647.stm

I must be really lonely then - I've been to all except 6 & 7 and lived in 4, 5 and currently in 8. To top that off I work in IT.However all that time being socially depraved does reap some rewards, such as helping to save St George's Church.Maybe if we turn St George's into a virtual lap-dancing club we can get Brentford to the number 1 spot - surely to get approval from the (outgoing) mayor?

I don't eat pot noodle.. I have a gluten allergy. I also don't know any ICT/IT people. bang.. there goes their theory.  Theres a few misconceptions and contradictions about us too.. apparently we all eat M&S Ready Meals and yet Teddington types do web searches on Brentford to show they kids where they will live if they don't do well as school.  I never realised the dole paid quite so well.Teddington.. its's just a dull semi-detatched ridden boring suburb of Hanworth after all. Innit?**stir, stir**

Its weird.  My eyes near popped out of my head when I read that on BBCi.  Its just weird to think that brentford could be beating places like Dallas and the cities of the southern USA.  They are obsessed with porn because they are so self oppressed.  The Kinsey Library shows the real extent of porn obsession in the deep south of the US.

Perhaps Keith you would be better informed by going to the Met Police site and checking out the actual statistics for Brentford although it would seem you have found more interesting uses for the internet single handedly so to speak.

I can only assume that an ISP has a server in Brentford which makes it seem as though it's the centre of the universe.  It comes high in the ratings on all sorts of random word searches on www.google.com/trends, 7th in the world for "parsnip" for example.  For some reason, Thames Ditton and Teddington appear a lot too.

Interesting statistic.  :)  However, I've tried finding the physical location of my IP address and everywhere picks it up as 'London', and not 'Brentford'.  Hmmm.
