Brentford FC lose out again

Its over for another year and yet again we, the fans, have been let down by the players during the play-offs.Could this be the end of my love affair with BFC. Turned my computer off, last night, when the second goal went in and went to bed. I knew the team would not recover and they didn't. This morning I feel nothing, season over.

The one thing that is sticking in my head is that I definately heard racist chants from some Swansea fans.  Why should anyone get away with that?

What team will have him. QPR? Cant see Charlton coming in for him, not enough experience. Southend and Colchester's managers are ahead of him in any pecking order.According to people who heard him on BCC Radio London he is consisdering his options. One question he has to ask himself is "does he want to to play on with a reduced budget"

They never looked like scoring yesterday.Same old Brentford, same old story.Sixth time in the play offs & sixth time getting knocked out, says it all for the team.I reckon you can kiss goodbye to Martin Allen now!

I think that is six times Brentford have been in the play-offs and lost every one Neil !!! I dont know if you read the statement by Greg Dyke the Chairman about two months ago? I would have thought any other Chairman in the same position as Brentford have been in all season would have been very confident about the teams chances of promotion.Weather automatic or via the playoffs.Not Dyke !!! All he kept going on about is how much the club would loose promoted or not [£500,000-£750,000] how much promotion would cost in wages and a higher policing bill. You do really wonder if the Board really want the team to go up.It seems the Dennis Piggot mentality still exsists..he was once famously quoted as saying that he would rather be a mid-table 4th Division side than a struggling 3rd Division one.

Two in a row - I feel sorry for Brentford as this team was good enough to go up. Losing some key players like Sodje might mean that it is not the same story next year.
