The Coach and Horses, London Road

I popped in last Monday to hear the resident jazz band, augmented by a recorded saxophonist. What a gem! These guys are very talented and cheered up a drab Monday no end. Jazz every Monday night - well worth a visit.

My daughter ate there & said the food was excellent, but we are Greedies fans...agree with you about the service though (at Greedies that is).

So has anyone actually eaten at the Coach and Horses. I went there a a few weeks ago and had great beer but didnt eat.I've been in there several times when music has been on and it's really good. I've eaten at Greedies and the food is really good I just found the service a bit crap hope the same cannot be said for the G2.Anyway let me know.

The other thing I've just discovered is that their G2 restaurant is run by Greedies (hence G2), who cook excellent food.  I haven't been to The Coach & Horses for years; must give it a try again soon.

I know they have music at the weekends and also I believe Sunday lunchtimes which is always a high standard.The only downside of the pub which also stays open late at weekends is the regulars who dont move away from the bar when you are trying to buy a drink.Not a problem for Cllr Andrews I should add!!
