6pm news The London Road is now open for through traffic
That was a big surprise at 6pm to find that the road works had gone!!..just the pavement works remaining. All the lads had buzzed off..forgetting to move the ROAD CLOSE signs at the Busch Corner location So I moved them.I then checked at the Brentford Half Acre end. Good the barriers had been removed. But..outside Brentford Police Station... the NO RIGHT TURN sign addressed to traffic coming down Boston Manor Road was still there causing perhaps confusing. Certainly it was now inappropriate.Traffic approaching Busch Corner from West Middlesex Hospital area may alsonot be sure about the change. Some buses did..and some didn't.Another job out the way. Sent in the bill lads and we'll sort out payment. £250,000 !! ??? You must be joking. Seriously how much would that Water Leak exercise cost the Water Board..or TfL?
