Leave Simon Alone

I havent posted on this forum Before but I do read it regular but I am discusted with all the attacks on Mr. Simon Anderson that I read. OK so Mr. Anderson shouldnt ave posted as Jason Stanley but he has admitted that and it was a LONG time ago so why does certain people keep going on about it.It is a very SHAME to see Jim Lawes going on and on about Simon when he Complains about too much being NAFF on the Forum, he is a hippocrite 4 going on about Simon, he should stick 2 posting his good pictures.I avent met this man Mr. Anderson but ive herd so much about him that he does GOOD work 4 charity and 4 the People on his estate threw Ivytag which he is the Chair off. Also he as a 10yr old daughter that is very sick so y not get of his case and let him get on with looking after her?So Mr. Lawes how about it, give it a rest now we've herd enuff off yr criticsm now.

I would love to know more about this from SA which he posted..He would rather be friends with a guy who is on bail for an attack on a Traffic Warden, who gives out Electoral Rolls when he was an Agent, a guy who got booted of 2 committees for abuse towards other members, harassing a elderly disabled woman where she ended up collapsing out of her Wheelchair and Not forgetting got banned from here for Abusing people thats his choiceIn light of Andrews threats towards me attending a public meeting....

Just got to this page, makes for interesting reading.I applaud Simon Anderson for holding his hands up to posting under another name. He certainly does not need to be constantly judged on his lack of forethought,and seems to have paid the penalty. On the same basis,does anyone need to post under a pseudonym? I have been accused of this many times and understand the anxiety it may cause. Perhaps those people who have accused me of posting under different names with no valid reason would like to apologise.I have no need to post under any other name but my own.

Bernadette please don't go describing Simon Anderson as a God.  From what I can tell from previous posts he doesn't understand sarcasm and is likely to take your words literally.Jim I'm sorry but looking back through the posts from Isleworth ward top-knobs (Paul Fisher, Phil Andrews, Vanessa Smith) I don't see any expressions of support for Anderson as chairman of his resident's group.  I think everyone can see he has blown this and I think it's safe to say you should take your cue from what isn't being said rather than what is.  I don't know why you want to think everybody is against you when it truth nigh on everybody is with you.

Actually Jim, Simon's responded on this thread at 12.20 yesterday not even 24 hours ago.Just one final comment from me, it's curious to note the absence of the SA fan club rushing to his defence on this thread.  Previous criticisms of him and his postings have prompted many people to post gushing sentiments about how wonderful he is elevating him to almost Godlike status, e.g. the "Am I boring you" thread, to name but one.  Have they now deserted their chosen Messiah or have they all realised this particular God has clay feet?

Jim,I doubt the local Labour Party even care, never mind know, what Mr. Anderson is or is not doing, and just to put the record straight, the ongoing nonsense about the New Ivybridge T.A. being a hotbed of political intrigue is all cobblers, I stand to be corrected but as far as I know only one person on that committee is a L.P. member. I know it all sounds good but really it is the product of a fevered and twisted imagination.

Jim do you have any evidence of this "continued support" for Anderson as chairman of his resident's group?  Who has made a "decision" to "keep him in that chairmanship"?  Do you know something we don't?It seems to me that with his recent behaviour on this and Tw7 forum his continued existence as "Chair off Ivytag" is untenable and he is probably the only person who won't have worked this out by now.You seem of the view that everyone is opposing your efforts to rid this forum off this virulent cyber pest.  From where I'm sitting the largest majority seems to be supporting you, with only a few questioning the way you have set about it without actually disagreeing with your objective.This clown has admitted to posting fulsome praise of himself under a false name then making up a ludicrous story about bumping into his alter ego in a cafe.  He swore blind at the time that this was not him, now he admits it was, yet he fails to understand why nobody believes him when a "James Thomas" appears on this forum doing precisely the same thing!  An obscenity appears by his name on Tw7 and the moderators identify his IP address, but still he protests that he is being set up.  How can such a dishonest, not to mention stupid person hold a position of responsibility in a resident's group?With a new leadership at the council and, particularly, with Mr. Andrews at the head of Housing surely any injustices against residents on the Ivybridge will automatically be ironed out shortly with or without Ivytag?  Anderson is not only ridiculous, he is superfluous.  I very much doubt whether he's worked that one out either.

The continued support for SA to be the Chairman of a local Resident's Group..must surely be a ploy to confuse the opposition...the Ivybridge Management, Hounslow Homes, NITA, the local Labour Party etc etc.The decision by some to keep him in that Chairmanship position is a masterstroke!Notwithstanding that, his poor performance and the usual splatterings all over the new TW7 website...caused dispair and finally his ejection. But there are several who disagree with my observations..so that's life...sadly.I have found my new Room 101 facility very helpful..and now I just don't open up messages I have no wish to read.

Wow 10 mails from TW8 telling me how much this thread has expanded today.Simon you should be getting some money out of the people who run this site. Given the amount of traffic you have generated for them their advertising revenues will be through the roof. I'd have words with them about your cut.I didn’t see the mail from the other guy on the thread so can't comment directly. But I know you want this to stop so despite what the baiters are doing let it wash over you and take a rest from the forum. 2 things will then happen you will chill for a bit and this thread will not sit at the top of the pile for everyone to see because the other threads (like Molten Browne and the butterfly house) will force it off the page.But I tell you if I was site admin for TW8 I would be happy with the hits that these threads are generating, because I could take those stats to people who place their banner at the top and say. Simon I think your missing my point.  Its not about you having to ask for forgiveness or being sorry or whatever.  Its the way you have sent these silly posts in the first place under your alias', and yes as you said it was a year ago, but you have the cheek to do it again.Read the post from James Thomas sent 30/07/06 at 01:28:00 hrs headed 'Leave Simon alone'.  Plain and simple - it smacks of Simon Anderson's style and is obvioulsy you again.  I know it, everyone know's it but there will also be some people who will not say it to you, probably not wanting the prospect of upsetting you.  Personnally I think you have some gall to carry on the way you have with these childish postings, and as I said before Jason/James telling everyon how great you are.  Its foolish as people are losing respect for you - very fast.  Get on with your life, your hobby, your children, whatever, just stop the silliness my friend.Best of luck.

(which I dont actually think it is.  I personally think alot of Jim's points and also other peoples points are very valid, and I am not taking sides ok!) Its more to do with the way you have for a very long time conducted yourself, and whether or not it was last year but you yourself have admitted you posted under the name 'Jason Stanely',  but purely to tell everyone just how fantastic you were and all your problems and what you've done.  Do you not feel at all stupid now cos personally I would!  My dad is very ill at the moment, with kidney failure.  He's been in charing X hospital for the last 2 months, has lost about 2.5 stone in that time, he is very poorly and at 65 years of age Im now worried what his quality of life will be like? See, we all have problems of sorts one way or the other but I can assure you this is the only time I will be mentioning it. Do you get my point? You persistanly repeat your life stories ensuring everyone must know about it - why?  The reason I am bothering to reply is that I and Im sure others get frustrated by the way you behave sometimes and your responses and it comes to a point where people won't sit back any longer and say nothing.  And that is exactly what I have chosen to do. I dont post very often but am a daily and avid reader of the Brentford Forum, which I thoroughly enjoy, but have to say it is as plain as the nose on all our faces that Simon Anderson/Jason Stanley/James Thomas are all the same people-Period! The way the posts have been written, the text 'talk' etc is just too much of a coincidence. As people have said before, the way the posts are so similar there is no question at all. And anyone who would disagree is crazy is my eyes.  I dont particulary want to get into the arguement that has occured, but feel I want to put my 2 pence worth for a reason: What I dont understand is why Simon felt he had to make up a number of alias' soley to self-pontificate about how great a guy he is and using an alias to do it.  Why? At the end of the day, people have seen the way you operate, and Im afraid to say by your Simon/Jason/James posts (its making me dizzy!)to be honest the worst possible thing you've done is make yourself look incredibly stupid in the process, and Im afraid digging yourself a very very deep hole!And before you ask - No, Im not picking on you, but alas I suppose i must now expect a backlash for speaking my mind, but I stand true to my word.Regards to you all.Clo.

I have just returned from holiday and therefore I am late to this thread.  I would just like to say to Simon Anderson that so far as the Jason Stanley post last year is concerned, at the time I thought the posting was from you but really didn't want to accuse you of such an undignified action.  Self congratulation is one of the most unattractive characteristics I can think of and you appeared to love yourself just a little too much.There is some merit in owning up but having read this thread I can't help but wonder whether you are still self publicising under assumed names.  If I were you I would be mortified to be caught out and would be keeping a very low profile, perhaps you would be wise to do the same.  You may be a wonderful chap but if anyone is sad and needs to "get a life" I think it's you and not JL. As for you being bullied by everyone, I think on top of everything else you may have a persecution complex.  Perhaps you just need to be the centre of attention and you certainly seem to be achieving that although I cannot understand why you are making an absolute fool of yourself into the bargain.  Leave things be - with each posting you make you actually make a bigger fool of yourself and people may then actually be tempted to persecute you!

Morning DanThank you for those kind words it was well appreciated but i just want to forget it now as its not worth it, its just silly and childish 2 adults fighting like School Children we are just showing ourselves up.I would like to be JL friend and the offer will always be there towards him i don't hold grudges and I do respect him but its his right if he doesn't want to be friends with me and i respect his decision.As to how all this happened well all i can say is that I went on Tw7 as a resident posting under my REAL name, there was a posting regd Lights that should be turned off in Blocks on Ivybridge.I posted that it was a fantastic posting but can we discuss it on IVYTAG as IVYTAG is a forum for Ivybridge issues.I then got attacked by the Administrator of the site on there.I privately emailed him to sort it out reasonably, but again i got attacked.So i posted another comment on Tw7 saying fair enough post what you like just to put a end to it but i got attacked again.So i sent a email to the Admin and yes i was wrong to threaten him but i thought it would stop the attacks on IVYTAG and myself but he posted my email on Tw7 and thats when JL got involved, the Admin of Tw7 then continued to stir things up between jL and myself.Then on Wednesday i posted a message thanking the Admin for allowing back 2 residents of TW7 to the forum that was banned just because they were members of my group.My girlfriend and I went to the shops when we came back my posting has disappeared and a nasty word stating with "C" was posted after the Admins comments under my name, i logged on and edited the word and reported i straight away.But then the admin decided to blame me for posting it even though he knew my password and I have 3 witnesses i was in a shop at the time of the posting which to me was a set up to make me look bad.I admit i posted on here as Jason Stanley which at the time was a bit of Fun i did not use that name to attack anyone so I don't see what i did wrong apart from use a false name something I haven't done since, but I did not post the word "c" on tw7.I ca only apologise to everyone on tw8 (inc JL) for posting over a yr ago as Jason Stanley and it Hasnt and wont happen again.It is clear that the instigator of all this was the Admin of Tw7 who you all know VERY well as he was banned from here for attacking people on here who also this yr posted under "account Suspended" something Jl has not said anything about but just praises this guy up, but i do it he has a go at me...I do want to put an end to this and if there is ANYONE who has doubts about me i would like to say come meet me and get to know me I am a very nice person who always put others first don't judge me because 1 person doesn't like me please"Thanks EveryoneSimon

It has been quite surprising to see how two apparently quite decent individuals can fall out with each other quite spectacularly. I'm sure many people will share my amazement that the sensible avuncular figure of Jim could exercise such a passionate hatred for anyone, particularly someone as amiable and well-meaning as Simon.It is not at all apparent exactly what Simon has done to warrant such bile. The Jason Stanley thing was totally obvious at the time so there seems to be no reason to resurrect it now. It was a daft thing to do but I would imagine most people would do daft things if their mind was mainly preoccupied with the health of their child. Surely misusing the forum to say good things (even about oneself) is preferable to misusing to abuse others as many of Simon's enemies have done (not Jim I might add whose behaviour may be surprising but his integrity remains above question.)There may be something we are not being told about Simon or some dreadful deed he has committed but from the outside it looks like he has simply fallen out with his erstwhile friends.  Being outside the gilded circle he now seems to have become subject to venomous attacks from those within it. This is fascinating as a study of pack behaviour but quite tragic when one remembers we are talking about a real person, with all too real problems which have just been compounded by the loss of a friendship network which has suddenly become a scourge. Even if there is more to this we are not hearing about please could this dispute be taken elsewhere. It is grimly fascinating but one man is being stripped of his dignity and others are starting to reveal a darker side to their characters most wouldn't have thought existed.

Hi JimGood to hear from you too, hope you are well.It would be absurd to suggest that you are "the pest".  You have been with this forum since the outset and to my certain knowledge your contributions are almost universally welcomed.  I don't see anybody disagreeing with the main thrust of your argument.My point about this thread was that - depending on whom you believe - "James Thomas" is either Simon trying to engender debate and discussion about himself, or it is one of our "friends" trying to stir up division and disharmony by placing a posting which was worded in such a way that everybody was going to presume it to have been written by Simon.In either eventuality IMO your continued attention to it merely serves to play the game.  That was the only point I was making.

IMHO there are only two possible explanations for the creation and manipulation of this thread and both of them call for forum users not to be strung along.  The discussion about the relative merits of local eateries (or OFF local eateries?) is far more relevant to the large majority of us.

Yes the Dhaba North Indian restaurant is popular and is next door to where Fenn's the Jewellers were for some 100 years..on the London Road.I was lucky last night to be invited to the Curry house at Lampton Corner (on the south side..adjacent to the very successful phone shop). Charming Indian staff..and lots of Indian customers too. I had been there many times before.On returning home..and after coffee..it was time for some studying on the Internet for an hour or two. (I'm doing some research for the W4.com Forum to do with Burlington).Late a night is a great time for academic study. It was then at 1.30am that the first hardly readable posting from James arrived.My concentration has since been disturbed..and the joys of life discoloured. He shouldn't be allowed to get away with it.

Keith if you come out of the Bridge Inn and turn left go under the bridge and keep walking. There is a block of shops the Dhaba is along there. Before you get to the Barclays.It's not much to look at but is a great place for good Indian food. Hope you enjoy it.

In addition,I've been running a busy business for the past 33 years..meeting lots and lots of people.To say that I am a "sad little man" is a ridiculous statement.  This current saga about SA is to do with his performance on the new TW7 Forum with George. I was most keen to help see it grow as an informative and intesrting Forum Site. To see CHAIRMAN, chairman,chairman, plastered everywhere I thought was not a good omen,,and when simple questions were poorly answered, and later followed by abuse..I could quickly see the the developement of TW7 was to be hampered by such idiotic scribblings.I've been told by one of the "Isleworth group", that SA is irrepressible...and that seems to be the case again.A year ago SA was a pest on this Forum also.... starting up nearly 20% of all new TOPICS..and you can imagine the overview of those.  Of course SA wants to drop the subject..he just wants to carry on in the same old way.If George has kicked SA off his TW7 site..there must be a good reason for that....but most of those startling messages have been deleted by George.  SA is a cyberspace pest.I am not a sad little man..and I am not a bully..I'm just passionately keen (but not overly) to see TW7 recover...and for TW8 to continue uncluttered.  Hopefully people will have got the message by now..and the infamous SA will take note. But I'm sure he won't.

I can Confirm that Simon Anderson is NOT me, i hav never met him b4 and last night was the 1st time I have posted on hear when Simon was in BED with his family who he has at Weekends.What i cant understand is why Jim Lawes keeps wanting to keep this on when Simon says he wants to drop the suject he seems to me to be a very Sad little man and a bully who just enjoys trouble!All i can say about Simon is that he does a LOT of good Work as Chair off Ivytag and raising money for sick children and Im sure he doesnt need all this attntion and aggro so hey why not get a life and give THE GUY A BRAKE??

First of All James Thomas is NOT me i was asleep in bed as Ive got my Children here for the Weekend and we all go to sleep early so I need to claify that.Jim says he got threatening Emails, from whom? Not me i did send him a private email to try to sort this out like a grown up and to keep it off from here but he constantly comes on here and attacks me, if you all noticed i have not said anything since yesterday when I said I would leave it and forget it all but Jim has to come on here and Attack me again.James might be a real person but if not hes copying my style of writing i know that I ain't good at spelling sometimes which Jim bully's me about i to had a threating nasty email.Jim says he hates people coming on here and attacking people well whats he doing now..I am prepared to leave it but he isn't shows who the grown up is?As to me coming on here and speaking my mind well is it OK for the Likes of Jim Lawes to keep coming on here attacking me? Ann, your right, and I'm not sure why on earth I allowed myself to get dragged in. Actually I do, last night I was drunk so I had to.Pleased you had a good night too where did you go? I was out with friends at the Dhaba last night. I'm struggling to find an Indian restaurant that betters it to be honest. In fact along the London road I seem to have found the best Indian food and the best Thai food in the area what with the Dhaba and the Bridge Inn. Although I'm not so sure about the Bridge as a boozer. In fact as far as eating out goes between TW7 and TW8 I think we have it pretty much covered for really good restaurants.

Yup, way too late, but I had a great meal in town tonight, with wine and stickies that dragged on (oops) and this is still going on! Can't we give it a break? Simon has obviously got a problem with criticism that drives him to post as a doppel defending him (witness the first thread here with the same gammar/spelling errors) but this has happened so many times before that it's not a surprise any more. Jim - you are a valuable member of the site, please don't demean yourself with the bitching against Simon - we are all thinking the same about the doppels, but it doesn't need nasty words. Simon, "James T" "Jason"  - your style of (OFF?!!) writing gives you away - please believe me that I've studied and lectured in linguistics, and the type of errors you (Simon) make are very unlikely to appear within the majority, so seeing them in you, "James T" and Jason is a huge long shot. Please can we draw a line on the sand here - the forum is being taken over, and most of the time I feel like I'm watching car crash TV. Hi James, (Kirkby)As I understand that you are fairly new to this Forum..I would like to suggest that you are not aware of the type of postings and activities that we have had to tolerate in the past year and more...and about we have complained about before.I respect your views..but you perhaps have started to read the book at Chapter 10..and we've been party to all that happened in Chapters 1-9.  SA, whilst he has done charity work..but haven't we all...I've done masses over the years..the downside is the activity like you've only partly seen on TW7 forum.One this occasion, I don't feel I should have to forgive Simon yet again..nor should I withdraw my own participation.Simon is a cybespace pest here, on TW7, and no doubt elsewhere. I'm surprised a few people wish to see him to carry on in that manner..spoiling the developement of a worthy Forum. Suggest you read chapters 1-9..if they are still available.Suggestions that SA should be left alone are crazy in my view. He will cause damage to this Forum...just like the ruins seen on TW7.I have devoted much time on this Forum (and W4's) to contribute to the Community at large...and I hate to see progress being spoiled.Threatening e-mails to me directly are not welcome...and any received will be reported to the Moderators.

I so happen to be around at this late hour having been doing some study on the internet.Mr James Thomas, in his maiden message, seems to be writing in the same style at SA..so I wouldn't be surprised if they were once again..one and the same person!! If they are not..well then my apologies.The matter of Jason Stanley is of much concern to me. Whilst it may have happen many months ago..it has only just clicked following other peoples postings. The dreadful error of SA's on the Farmers Market thread to submit a message in the name of Jason Stanley by mistake..thus giving away his cover was just a joke. And then for him to disgracefully to come up with some untrue story that it was all a misunderstanding with some chap at the Bridge Cafe..is just an affront to this Forum and its readers.This kind of use of the Forum surely breaks the rules and added to all the other criticisms of his cyberspace behavior adds up to something not too good.His many postings in the name of Jason Stanley praising himself may be funny to some but,having just twigged on the deception, I judge it to be dishonest.As a Forum prowler..who pleads for our money for his Charity work..he should be seen white as white. When a Forum poster asked SA if he kept accounts on one occasion the question was answered typically with abuse.SA should be censured.  For you maiden posting James I'm surprised you have sided with someone who discredits this Forum..and other Forums too..and suggest that you read some of the detailed complaints more carefully.The errors in your English text suggests that you're SA up to your tricks again. I will not be reading any replies from  SA. I have deposited his name in Room 101.PS: How SA can be seen as a Chairman of a Resident's group begs belief.The reason I am going on about it..is that I've just realised what scam has been written by SA. Yes I agree!!! I think we should all leave Simon alone. And as one of our venerable councillors said, we as a group should distinguish between Simon’s minor mister meaner of impersonating some one, and his good deeds of raising charity for good causes.I can’t agree more. But I can’t abide the fact that people seem to continue to use such appalling English as to miss the point between “off” and “of”.So Mr Thomas while I do “ave” every empathy with your views, why don’t you take a leaf out of Simons last message and concur with his wishes not as rise to the bait of the everyday arbitrage of common linguistic jousts that commonly proliferate theses posts.Just a thought.
