San Marco - Brentford

I'm looking to dine locally and I'd like to give San Marco's another try as I have heard that it has changed management.  I'd be grateful if anyone can give me any feedback on what they thought of their experience if they have dined their recently.  Thanks in advance.

Whoops - probably not a good idea to get my Serbs and Croatians mixed up. Though isn't Goran a Croatian name as in Isanisavic?

Sitting at one the few tables outside, during the day or early evening is a treat.You get to enjoy the best of Ferry Quays - sun, trees, (even if you cant quite see the river views from this low)and say hello to your neighbours as they tootle pastThe management has changed, but not the ownership, a lovely Serb called Goran.

Not sure that it has changed management - the owners were Croatian and I think they are still around. The restaurant is absolutely first class and really comes into its own in this weather. I went there a few times after it opened and although good it was very empty but it seems to be getting established now as its reputation grows.

we eat there every week or so, super food, elegantly served. The new lobster linguine was yum. Have not tried the main course meat dishes recently.
