Brentord Fesitival

Does anyone have information about a Green Festival in Brentford? It's in my diary from the 1 to the 3 of September but I don't have any other details, was I on some thing at the time?

Thanks Thanks Thanks to everybodys kind words of congratulations.  Thanks to all who helped prepare for the event and particularly to those that helped on the day - you know who your are!  Excellent reports have come back in from exhibitors and car booters who raised more funds for their local charites than they had anticipated. Look for pictures in the Hounslow Chronicle and BCI Times this week to see what you missed.

Glad to hear it went very well..and thank goodness the weather improved.  I didn't get around to attending on this occasion...but trust there were thousands there...as last year. Look forward to reading other reports.

A big thanks to linda, I think you did a wonderfull job, I also want to say thanks to all the other helpers and there where many of you, Matt Harmer, Andy Dakers are only the names I know but during the day many many of you helped little House Productions, Thank You. All the bands and Robin enjoyed the day, I think we where all happy to see the sunshine.

There are green festivals around London - Ham and Fulham have ones from memory but I can't remember there ever being on in Brentford. Are you perhaps thinking of the Kew Green festival which is on Saturday next?

We decided on the Living History along with a little marching (something fun for the kids) and one of the raffle prizes (being sold at the information desk) will be to fire the cannon!  Life is full of new experiences.

My head is above the sand with less than 3 weeks to go to the big event in Brentford.  Fairground, inflatable slide, food and drink, live music, Sealed Knot, Soul of Brentford and amazing craft stalls and local groups.  The event will open at 12 noon on 3rd September by the Mayors of Ealing and Hounslow.  Will you be there to give your support?

Friends of Boston Manor Park 3 Sept, they do have a web site. I will have to check my emails for it. Should be a fantastic day out. The friends of the park where I live are holding one on the 12 Aug, last year it was out of this world well worth going along.
