New England

Anyone know what's going on with the New England" (or Duke of York as it used to be). Loads of scaffolding out front, but no sign of building work. Is it just another giant advertising hoarding or is something being built/demolished?

JohnI believe that there are plans to convert the New England pub into a hotel..according to a local I spoke to the other day.It is all boarded up.In the meantime, scaffolders arrived the other day and started adding to the local scene of desolation!oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
