David Hughes.

I've been reading this forum for some time and tend to read but not write on political matters asI now live in OZ.Regards the current debate on what was on or not on the ICG website David Hughes keeps banging on about a "hit lists" etc.Well David, isn't it time to put up or shut up, and please dont fall back on the excuse "I passed the info onto the unions". You posted the allegations its up to you to prove them or stop banging on about them.

DavidAre you seriously telling us that this is it?  A comment apparently from myself that outstanding housing issues would be addressed by a new administration of which we are a part, followed by an added reference by an unknown person (yourself?) to a "hit list"?  Is this really what all this nonsense is about?Would you be so kind as to provide a source for the information which you have reproduced so that its authenticity can be confirmed?  The comments about the outstanding issues certainly ring familiar but the comments appended to it do not.Are you suggesting that I made the "hit list" reference?  If so can we have some evidence please?

The context is pretty clear. You have made an unsupported allegation but claim to have evidence. You have been asked to produce that evidence but have failed to do so. If there was indeed a 'hit-list' of council officers it could only be to their benefit that such comments were put in the public domain so the logical conclusion is that you are just making this up as Neil seems to have deduced quite quickly.

But you clearly stated that you passed on a article containing a "hitlist of Officers" from the ICG website to your union,are you now withdrawing this accusation?
