Brilliant!

Juat to let you know that the Stones did not disappoint - they were fabulous and the staging just breathtaking, even enjoyed Feeder the support, Twickers rocked!

Vanessa,My grandson Michael and his fiancée will be at The Stones Concert tonight....it's incredible to think they weren't even born when Mick Jagger was first struttin' his stuff.I hope the concert is brilliant, and envy the audience....and I'm no spring chicken!

Well for those going tonight have a great time!!Didn't realise Vanessa was there....but I agree I really enjoyed most of it...tremendous atmosphere with the crowdMick never lets us down..Bill, Ron and Charlie rock still,altho didn't think KR was at his best...there you go..Still that didn't linger long!! Great encore....wont spoil it by saying what it was but stunning!!

They certainly were - us Baby Boomers can still tie one on when we want to. We seem to be getting a very bad press recently, personally I think it's just jealousy!

Were the Stones still as exciting as they used to be when I saw them regularly at the Ricky Tick in Windsor and Eel Pie Island back in the 60's before they made their first record?A friend of mine shared a flat with Brian Jones over the  Can (previously the Cafe Cantata) in Eton High Street and we saw the Stones twice a week at one stage as well as The Pretty Things, Manfred Mann, The Yardbirds (with a very young Eric Clapton on guitar), The Cyril Davies Allstars and Alexis Korner's Blues Incorporated. Those were the days!!!! Proper music!!

Well it's a bit like film critics - I've been to see some real stinkers that some critics have raved over, and the problem is that we all like different things, so what I like might be a load of old rubbish to you. Anyway to show how very sad I am - we are off to see Westlife this Saturday and I love 'em. If only Robbie would come to Twickenham then my cup runneth over - - I'd kill for tickets.

Glad you enjoyed it Vanessa but did you read the Evening Standard review as their critic had a very mixed opinion?I have never really understood why I bother reading a critics article to be honest and that includes food,art,music or whatever because how can they possibly just try and enjoy something like the rest of us without attempting to find a fault of some kind?
