STRIKE ACTION AFFECTS SOUTH WEST TRAINS  -  TUESDAY 29 AUGUST

For those of you who don't read the front page of this website...Due to industrial action, all train services on most of the South West Trains network, including services on the Hounslow Loop and through Feltham station are likely to be CANCELLED on Tuesday 29th August.Services are also likely to be affected by strike action on Friday 8 and Monday 11 September.For further information, visit the Southwest Trains website  http://www.southwesttrains.co.uk/SWTrains

Talks were postponed - they are talking place tomorrow (Tuesday)

According to the SW Trains website there were talks yesterday that didn't reach a resolution and there will be more talks on Monday.

Thank you for reminding commuters about this strike Chris but I`m afraid the information on the South West Trains website is completely wrong.It stated that two trains would leave Twickenham at 8.31am and 8.41am to Waterloo this morning so I thought I would have a lie in and attempt to get on of them.I double checked this morning and it still advertised these trains plus others throughout the day so I walked down to Twickenham Station only to find that every train was now cancelled today.Luckily I can work from home as well so not a major problem for me but as usual when SW Trains have any problems then all staff vanish.
