O'BRIENS

The new O'BRIENS bar on brentford high street is a refreshing change to the area,the beer is great ,the food is great with massive servings,all freshly cooked,have eaten there 6 times now,very reasonably priced as well,try it out.

Steve has put a rather nice cider/perry through a pump now if you're of that persuasion..let us know when you're over and maybe we can meet up.

Magpie still dirty Neil.As for O'Briens I agree with Keith & Brian........Very clean pub, great food, good atmos & very good beers.Will post on tomorrow what's available but I had a nice one or three Leffe's in there last Saturday after watching the Quins lose by one point against London Irish at Twickers.Let us know when you're over & we'll meet up for a beer.

So no clean up yet. The Magpie was looking a bit rough around the edges 18 months ago.I'll find out in 3 weeks.

Fair bit of cask beer on(4 pumps)and an'interesting'lager or 2(if that's possible)and bottled Belgian beer and Polish lager.Had a bizzare episode at the bar t'other night when a couple of Irish customers ther asked me,after I ordered a lovely pint of Grand Union wheat beer 'What are you drinking that rubbish for?'One of them was drinking Carling Black Label and the other was on Smirnoff Ice...I rest my case!
