Hounslow Homes Review - first residents' meeting a success
A small but highly productive meeting at Chiswick Town Hall was the first of a series of opportunities for tenants and leaseholders to give their views of the service being offered by Hounslow Homes, the Arms' Length Management Organisation wholly owned by the London Borough of Hounslow.Attendees from Pinkham Mansions discussed a whole range of issues including repairs, estate management and user participation, and their comments will be fed into the review process which is currently taking place. It was agreed by everybody present that the decision of the new administration to open the process up to residents themselves rather than simply seeking out the views of the "approved" organisations was a welcome one, and a number of those present said they would attend the larger Open Forum which I have called, and which I will be chairing at Hounslow Civic Centre next Wednesday evening.Any leaseholders or tenants of Hounslow Homes who have comments to make on the service provided by the organisation - good or bad - are urged to come along on Wednesday and have their say. The meeting will begin at 7.00pm.
