I am delighted that you found The Brentonian interesting and informative and Peter really enjoyed producing it and loved Brentford and its history. Sadly Peter died very suddenly and unexpectedly on 18th November 2006, aged just 43, leaving a wife and three young sons.Peter had been working on his first project as a publisher (Proof Books based at Ealing Studios) but sadly did not see it through to fruition. The book, entitled "The London of Charles Dickens (A Pocket A to Z guide to the life and landmarks of Dickens) was released this week and is available to order/buy at WH Smith, Waterstones, Amazon and most independent bookshops. The ISBN is 0-9554001-01-0-4.This is a marvellous book and is a must for anyone who appreciates Dickens and/or London. Peter was so excited about publishing this book and it is so sad that he is not here to see it in the bookshops. It would mean so much to his adored family, wife Anne and sons Sam, Tom and Jack, if this book does well so if you are looking for a Christmas present for somebody (or a treat for yourself) I would really appreciate it if you would consider this little gem. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Hope you all have a peaceful, happy and healthy Christmas.
