What next?

Absolutely appalled to read of the attempted robbery in Redlees Park, and well done to the young victim who lamped both of his attackers. Aren't they brave though? - two of them on to one schoolboy - what utter, snivelling cowards they are.

Indeed Vanessa he is a brave lad but he could have ended up a lot worse off...thank god he didn't.I wonder if his surname is Bronson....I feel a mixture of revulsion and pity for his attackers.People like them usually get what they deserve in the end....a life in and out of nick and on the fringes of society and wondering where it has all gone when they are 30 and have nothing.I've got mates a bit older than myself who were in serious danger of going off the rails when a little thing called 'national service'came along and disabused them of the notion that they were anything special and over the course of a couple of years made them into something special ie:a decent,well adjusted people with respect for themselves and others.I don't think that it would go amiss now to bring it back,imho.

Lots of the schools start & finish earlier Colin than when we were at school. Isleworth & Syon now start at 08.30 & finish at 15.10.

And in  mine, but they do come out very early now, I suspect he was on his way home, and frankly I don't give a toss for Sir Ian Blair and his P.C. twaddle they are YOBS, and if those scumbags find that offensive all I can say is -tough!

Things have changed since my day. If you were 15, you stayed in school until something approaching 4pm.

Colin,It happened at 3.15pm so he might of finished early on a free period or just finished for the day we shouldn't jump to conclusions.

Vanessa,This is what you find with people like this, thank god (am I allowed to say that?)the boy was not stabbed to death by these low life.
