Haven't found the man with two tins on his head, but having visited many parts of India over the past twelve years can assure you that two tins is a small amount!! Try seven people, plus shopping on a scooter(vespa type)!!Mumbai is a vibrant city of many contrasts, huge 5* hotels, multi-millionaires, and incredibly destitute people scratching a living from the rubbish on the street, as is much of India. Cars driving on the right may sound like a good thing, if only people took any notice of it!Although that may be true of here, or any European country where they drive on the left!!I am hoping, next year, to visit again, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands,to see how they have managed to re-build after the Tsunami. As far as food is concerned, yes you can get a pizza, often delivered, McDonalds and even a Subway, but why bother? local cuisine is great and so different in each of the various states I have visited. A great book to read about India is "Chasing the Monsoon" by Alexander Frater, he writes about many places I have visited and gives a great account of west coast India. Try it!!
