That YOU TUBE website.  Isn't it amazing?

Peter Wright, Hugh and other "forumswide" members have occasionallyposted links to the YOU TUBE website via their messages...especailly on the Ealing Forum.Often the links have been to videos of amusing sketches.This weeks news of Googles purchase of the You Tube empire has been noted by us all no doubt. But my trip last night around the YOU TUBE website was breathtaking when I entered in to the SEARCH BOX things like "Chopin piano"..or "Rachmaninov 3!" or even the names of local place names.It kept me up most of the night..and I didn't get to the TW8 Farmers market!Yes, try the Search Facility. Also useful is the 5 star rating system..perhaps best examined by right clicking the "button" towards the bottom of the page on the right hand side. All the videos for that subject are listed and adjudged. The URL in the address bar can be copied..given the "tiny url webpage" treatment..and then this shorter URL can either be used on this thread (!) or on the Wandsworth Forum Training Ground!I'm sure there are videos showing scenes that will be X certificate....so be careful!ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooWatch this 10 year old girl’s progress playing Mozart for starters!From 2 mins 30 seconds onwards she really gets going!http://tinyurl.com/yd8somooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooThere's no end to what is seemingly available on YOU TUBE.

TimYes, Henry VIII's body laid there just overnight..so they say. Noted that you have a bike...I ought to hire one locally from somewhere.Any ideas?You've mentioned the Abbey..Sion Abbey..and as you know they have been digging to locate and explore the foundations.Here is an Artist's impression of the Abbey (TW8!)

I've got a bike !I suppose it would be uncharitable to pick her up on Syon House being one of the homes of Henry VIII.(Though isn't the story that his body lay overnight in the Abbey on its way for burial and the dogs got at it fulfilling one of the cleric's prophesies.... Does that make it one of his houses ? )

A surprise in cyberspace every night!I've found Lonnie Donegan singing one of his popular 1950's and 1960's numbers on YOU TUBE...and not only lively playing..but there is a sola banjo piece that I always much enjoy. Do you like the banjo?As many will recall Lonnie lived at Brentford Dock at one time and he regularly popped into La Rossetta when he was in town.  In the 1950's his skiffle music encouraged lots of youngsters to form their own groups ..and the serious Headmaster at Chiswick Grammar School was really not amused!!Enjoy: Copy and paste:http://tinyurl.com/yb9q2f
