Great service in Prezzo and Ground
I had my doubts about the location of the new waterside dining places being capable of sustaining a business like both of these places. As much as I prefer more rustic old fashioned settings, both of these places are to be commended on their good customer service, which is the one thing that will mean they are succesful. Prezzo is of course a chain, but I'm impressed with the levels of service I've had there both times I have visited. The food was excellent and the waitress was utterly charming. The mood of the palce is right and it just lovely to have somewhere to go like this that doesn't mean a hop on the bus to tired old Chiswick where everywhere looks the same these days. What is it with the green, cream and beige look? Most of the dining venues in Chiswick High Road are covered in it.I'm now a regular at ground and the best thing about the place is the nice friendly relaxed nature of the staff. The fact that I can work the odd afternoon there by being connected remotely to work on my laptop makes it all the more a valuable asset. I'm glad of these places, we have a good range of places now in Brentford and it now means I am quite happy to spend my entire weekend in my own area spending my money locally. I just think praise should be given to people where its due and something as simple as good customer service can make have a great effect well beyond the front doors of the café or shop. Its all adding to a good impression of Brentford.
