So Hounslow could already be twinned with Vyborg!!

Did you see that article in the Hounslow Chronicle this week on page 18 about the "Borough's  exotic links" "We've got twin towns in surprising places"Well we know about the Paris connection... Issy-les-Moulineaux..and the twinning with Lahore in Pakistan.  Less well know is the link with Ramallah in Palistine...but the big surprise was the fact that Hounslow is twinned (in a redundant way) with the St Petersburg area"Leningradsky District".Well done Daniel Lyons who wrote the article..someone ought to talk to him..as he was reporting on the regular Civic Centre meeting of the Borough's Twinning Committee!   And who do we know who sits on that esteemed Committee?..our friend Cllr Paul Fisher. Wow.Are they thinking of chopping the connection?  Doesn't  he and they realise that some 1000 messages have been posted on this Forum and Ealing's about our cyberspace trips to these Baltic places?  Karelia, Vyborg, and St Petersburg all within the Leningradsky Military District..and all twinned in the distant past with Hounslow.Paul: How about a trip? and who is the expert on your Committee?

DaveI think you meant BNP not BMP. You ought to get someone to spell check for you, this helps me to understand what you are saying! some examples below may help. May have, instead of may of. Civil rights instead of Civalrights. Who are "back people". Chopped instead of choped. Dagenham instead of Daganham. Were instead of where. Speeches instead of speaches........I think I have got the gist of it now, you are bitter at losing your seat last May

No its another knee jerk reaction, what we may of been linked to communists, a bit like Cllr Oulds reaction to the the Paul Robeson Theatre being named after a cival rights campaigner and screaming out hes a communist in the middle of Black History month, no doubt he will ask the french one to be choped as its part of Europe, mind you as a paid worker for the Bruge group I think we need to be asking why members of his group where at a BMP and Right Now meeting in October of which the meeting was to discuss why white people are better than back people and to listen to speaches from the Daganham BMP candidates.
