The Magpie quiz is on Thursday night, around 9pm. There is also a quiz at the Brewery Tap (Catherine Wheel Road) every Monday (also starts 9pm); the first Monday of each month is a pop music quiz, the others are all general knowledge.

The Magpie & Crown used to have one on a Friday. Might be worth checking to see if it still runs.

O'Briens do one every Wednesday but it's not a traditional quiz. It starts at 9pm and the questions aren't read out, you're just given them to answer in your own time. It's free to enter and no prizes but it is very challenging!
