Listening to LBC this morning, Steve Allen referred to this dreadful news:DOUBLE SHOOTING LEAVES MAN DEAD""A man has died and another has been left fighting for his life following a shooting in a west London flat.Police were called to Fraser House on Green Dragon Lane in Brentford shortly after 2120 GMT on Thursday.A resident told the BBC a gunman had got into a first floor flat and fired three shots.A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed one man had died, while the other was taken to hospital with "life threatening injuries".One of the victims was shot in the head and the other was hit in the shoulder.A pet dog suffered a bullet wound to the leg, while a woman who was in the flat at the time escaped unhurt.Officers have cordoned off the area around the scene of the shooting and a murder inquiry has begun."" wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwfrom the BBC London website.wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

The man who was murdered has been named as Dean Tully, 37, of no fixed abode. A post mortem examination found that he died from multiple gunshot wounds.You can find out more by clicking here

If the Police do take an interest in the posters on this thread and the incident does turn out to be drug related, I am fairly sure Colin with his well known hysteria over the drug issue should be the first one interviewed.

The BBC London website has this news item:WITNESS APPEAL FOR FATAL SHOOTINGPolice are appealing for people who were at a flat where a man was killed with a machine gun to come forward.Officers say there were a number of individuals at Fraser House in Brentford, west London, at the time of the shooting on Thursday night.Another man was also shot and he is in a stable condition in hospital.Detectives say the men were shot with a machine gun. Philip,I have no information regarding the unfortunate casualties.. and one has noted that the webpage news item has been long removed from the BBC website.Neither was the incident mentioned at all on the BBC London local news. Obviously it's a very serious Police matter..and a news black out considered essential.What a sad happening though..and one feels for the families involved..the neighbours and the local residents. Guns in our locality!
