Good first impressions on the response from this website, it would appear. I received a prompt response from Richmond Council and noticed this weekend just gone, that the potholes reported in an East Sheen road on 15 March, plus additional small ones, had been filled in.There are a number of reports on the Neighbourhoodfixit website confirming prompt action, (for a range of issues including graffiti and vandalism), and comments on the Putney forum saying likewise for Wandsworth Council. How about Hounslow Council?Added benefits of using this website, to reporting it directly to the Council, are transparency, plus ease and speed. Try it out. Having read on this forum of the appalling injuries from tripping over sunken paving slabs, a separate debate over compensation and action after the event, the Neighbourhhodfixit website may be useful for preventive action, which must be better all round.
